Entry: Bushwhackers Sunday, September 11, 2005

OK, so I said I was going to start doing this all regular like.  In my defense, I just never said when I was going to start again.  ha!  Suckers!

The semester started last week.  All it has done is reinforce the fact that people are not my favorite creatures on this perpetually moving rock.  Really.  Maybe it was the fact that I got a ride to work every morning.  Perhaps it was the fact that people like to congregate in front of my office door and then act all offended when I say, "excuse me please" when trying to enter said room.  I really don't know.  But by the end of the week, I was ready for a day at the shooting range.

I didn't get to go to the range.  Hell, I don't even know where the range is here.  Not to mention the fact that I don't own a gun.  So I settled for an evening out with a friend from work.  We went to Bahama Breeze for the best chicken wings in the world & Bushwhackers followed by more liquor, cheesecake and shopping at Caesar's.

It also happened to be the anniversary of Shane's passing.  I was quite proud of myself.  I didn't cry once.  I got a little loaded, but I had fun and in the depths of my little black heart there was a party for Shane.  I'm sure he was proud of me.  He hated all that mushy sentimental crap anyway.  Unless of course it was going to get him a piece of ass, but that's beside the point isn't it?

On the school front.... I'm officially insane.  Working full-time and taking a full class load will surely cause a meltdown, but hey, we all have to melt sometime.  I had originally registered for a german class, but they called the Friday before classes start to tell me it was cancelled.  I was hotter than a french fried onion.  I mean, really.  They can't give you a heads up on those things?  Its not like its easy to find an open class that late.  So I finally managed to find something I was willing to take.  Not that I'm happy about it.  I mean, it does kind of screw my schedule up.  A lot.  So now I'm taking music appreciation.  Joy.  At least it satisfies a fine arts credit.  Of course the entire thing is making me reconsider my major AGAIN.  Hey Ang, I think I'm going to major in meeting and events planning.  Maybe its time for you to get that second degree.  *wink* *wink*

You know I can't get out of here without a bus comment.  Well, its not really a comment about the bus itself, but about something that is becoming quite common as of late.  When I've been sitting waiting for the bus, it never seems to fail that some ass has to peel out from the stop sign/light right past those of us sitting at a stop.  Now speaking for only myself I have this to say:  GET A FUCKING LIFE!  I don't care that you have a car and I don't.  People like you are the reason I don't drive in the first place.  Besides, do you think its wise to be wasting your gas like that idiot?  Keep it up and you are going to be sitting your punk ass on that bus right in front of me and I will make damn sure everyone points and laughs.  Bank on that.  Penis.

Yeah that is a lot faster then most states, as many people who move to Vegas every year I can understand why though

In Nevada you only have to be a resident for 6 months to get residency status. You gotta love a transient state. heh

I think you have to be in state for a year before the college considers you a resident and the prices drop. But I could be wrong and Z will tell if I am I'm sure!

Perhaps it is.

It's 6 months living there before you're counted as in-state, right?

*let the evil plotting begin*
